Dr. Pranab Kumar completed his medical training in Bangalore, India, and followed with a dual specialization in anesthesia and pain medicine at the London Deanery, United Kingdom. After completing his neuromodulation fellowship at Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital he worked as a staff physician in the United Kingdom before relocating to Toronto, Canada.
Pranab Kumar is currently a Staff in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University Hospital Network. Besides teaching at numerous pain conferences, Dr. Kumar is also certified as a recognized Fellow of Interventional practice with the World Institute of Pain. He does image guided interventional spine, joint / peripheral nerve radiofrequency treatments, regenerative therapies and advanced neuromodulation therapy. He is involved in teaching undergraduate medical students, residents and fellows at the University of Toronto.
