Dr. Chirag Bhat completed his medical school training at the University of Western Ontario before pursuing his primary specialty FRCPC training in Emergency Medicine from the University of Ottawa. He then went on to pursue subspecialty FRCPC training in Pain Medicine from McMaster University.
He currently practices as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University while working at the Michael G. DeGroote Pain Clinic.
Dr. Bhat's expertise is in the interventional treatment of chronic pain with focuses on X-ray guided and Ultrasound guided interventional management therapies. He performs image guided interventional spine, joint, and peripheral nerve radio frequency and regenerative therapies.
